EU-Funded International Workshop: “Computational Approaches in Life Sciences and Aquaculture (CALSA’25)” Held at TÜBİTAK Campus
The EU-funded international workshop titled “Computational Approaches in Life Sciences and Aquaculture (CALSA’25)” was successfully held at the TÜBİTAK Campus with broad international participation. The event served as a scientific platform that brought together the academic and research community to discuss computational approaches in life sciences and aquaculture.
The workshop, organized under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Orkide Coşkuner-Weber from the Department of Molecular Biotechnology at our university, attracted great interest. Participants from various countries, including researchers, academics, and students, took part in the program. The workshop featured sessions on computational biology, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence applications, omics data analysis, quantum computing, digitalization in aquaculture, and modelling techniques.
At the end of the event, which included scientific presentations and interactive sessions, participants were presented with certificates of attendance. CALSA’25 was evaluated as a highly productive scientific gathering highlighting the importance of computational approaches in life sciences.
